Study Of Location Based Energy Efficient AODV Routing Protocols In MANET

Abstract:
A Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile hosts that move in different directions and speeds without the need to maintain connectivity with existing network infrastructure. If two mobile nodes are within each other's transmission range, they can communicate with each other directly; otherwise, the nodes in between have to forward the packets for them. In such a case, every mobile node has to function as a router to forward the packets for others. Thus, routing is a basic operation for the MANET.Energy is one of the important issue in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET). Nodes are in network are working in the presence of limited energy then energy efficient routing is necessary for reducing energy consumption. Efficient minimum energy routing schemes can greatly reduce energy consumption and extends the lifetime of the networks. Now location aware DREAM protocol is reduces the energy consumption because due to the awareness of location less number of routing packets are flooded in the network by that energy consumption are reduces. In this paper we focus on the previous researches that had been done in field of location aware energy efficient routing in MANET.

E – Waste Management through Regulations

Abstract:
The developed and developing countries are facing the heat of e waste and have come up with measures for controlling, dealing and combating. Regulations for E-waste management in developed and developing countries through Regulations, Rules and Legislative approaches and observation of implications arising out of it are of prime importance to take stock of preparedness for dealing it. The study the influence and intentions of selected developed countries initiatives in this effort vis a vis developing countries and predict strengths and obstacles to effectiveness of e-waste regulations is need of time. The inclusion of newer approaches of various stakeholders in formulating the rules is requirement and is essential to address the minimization and justified tackling of e-waste situation successfully. The need to define and analyze E waste stock, source of inflow, restrictions in and from formal and informal sectors etc are the primary need in the international forum which can address to the economic causes of illegal e-waste export and handling. The addressing of all three entities i.e. enforcing regulatory, compliance and eliminating the health and environmental hazards related to e-waste handling will need to be observed that how far it has been resolved by the regulations and access the need for new regulations.

Design of a Non-Contact Surface Profilometry System for Automated Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Abstract:
A Non-Contact Surface Profilometry System has been developed for autonomous geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing quality control. Using embedded microcomputers and custom control circuits a cost effective system has been developed to provide high density sub-micron resolution 3-dimensional point clouds and meshes. With a data acquisition rate of up to 200,000 samples per second large data structures are developed quickly and manual data processing is infeasible. Software has been developed to automate the post processing of the acquired data to provide quality control of critical dimensions of various components.

The Effect of Course-Ware on Students 'Math Educational Achievement: a case study of Mathematics Iranian Students studying in University of Mazandaran- Iran

Abstract:
The aim of this project is to study the effect of math course-ware on students' educational achievement and motivation as a method which has applied educational technology in education. The subject samples of this study include 52 freshmen studying in math undergraduate in Mazandaran Teachers' university - Iran. The samples were divided into experimental and control groups by simple random method. Then pretest was held for both groups. The experimental group were taught with math course-ware and the control group were experienced the traditional method by the same professor and educational book simultaneously. Educational achievement posttest was applied for both groups. The results of data-Manova test showed the significant difference of scores of two groups and the effect of math course-ware on students' educational achievement in the lesson; public mathematics (1).

Pavement Friction V. Initial Velocity of Vehicle in Chain Accidents on Highways

Abstract:
The objective of this study is to determine the influence of pavement friction on the initial velocity of the first vehicle in a chain accident on highways involving three vehicles. Regression analysis on the results of these variables was conducted. Excellent correlation coefficient was found for the relationship at á = 0.05 significance level. The influence of Pavement Friction on the Initial Velocity is shown by a quadratic equation (Initial velocity = -0.075 Pavement Friction 2 -1.3359 Pavement Friction + 116.23) with R = 0.99.

A Hygienic, cost effective, hand free & water conservative sensor faucet

Abstract:
The sensor faucets of the present world will serve the purpose of water conservation and impediment to infection control. But their prices confine them to a particular class of society. This paper explains our two designs which are 50% cost efficient relative to available sensor faucets. The first design is constructed by Infrared (IR) pair (IR transmitter & receiver). Generally active infrared (AIR) sensing technology is used in the hand free faucets. The receiver of this technique will demand a reflected ray (reflected by human hand) which activates the solenoid valve. Sothis design is complex and expensive. In our first design, the object is perceived when the IR rays path is disturbed. The sensor design of this approach will make things easy and cost efficient.The second design internal circuitry differs from the first design, But the sensing technique remains same. These designs will allow every section of society to use sensor faucets. The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) reported that hand-washing causes a significant reduction in the carriage of potential pathogens on the hands and in health care. The water conservation, infection control and prevention can be made successful in developing countries like India.

Zeros of a Polynomial in a given Circle

Abstract:
In this paper we discuss the problem of finding the number of zeros of a polynomial in a given circle when the coefficients of the polynomial or their real or imaginary parts are restricted to certain conditions. Our results in this direction generalize some well- known results in the theory of the distribution of zeros of polynomials.

Real Time Video Prosecution Unit

Abstract:
There is an alarming increase in crime rate all over the world. Considering this increase in general social problems, security has become more vital for every nation of the world, and for this reason, new security ideas are born on daily basis to solve this world menace. Real Time Video Prosecution Unit consists of a DVR System embedded to the WTMD main board, the camera assembly, camera and the SD Card storage media as well as the TC Out video connection sockets. Alarmed visitors images/video are automatically captured with a time-stamp and saved on 2 GB SD Card, up to ~30 000 images. System allows recording of all Visitors/Alarmed Visitors only with a time-stamp and queue number.

Among all the hospital solid waste which include anatomical, pathology and laboratory waste, office waste plastics, sharp and expiry medicines etc. are also research major contributor of pollutant in this work, an attempt have been made to characterize and quantify hospital solid waste generated from different wards and clinical areas of hospital. Moreover, an eco-friendly plans for disposal of hospital waste have also been suggested.

Voltage Sag and Swell Compensation using UPQC-S Technique

Abstract:
This paper introduces a new concept of optimal utilization of a unified power quality conditioner
(UPQC). The series inverter of UPQC is controlled to perform simultaneous 1) voltage sag/swell compensation
and 2) load reactive power sharing with the shunt inverter. The active power control approach is used to
compensate voltage sag/swell and is integrated with theory of power angle control (PAC) of UPQC to coordinate
the load reactive power between the two inverters. Since the series inverter simultaneously delivers active and
reactive powers, this concept is named as UPQC-S (S for complex power). A detailed mathematical analysis, to
extend the PAC approach for UPQC-S, is presented in this paper. MATLAB/SIMULINK-based simulation
results are discussed to support the developed concept.

Stabilized Supply in Voltage 14.4 V and 300 A Current for Automotive Applications

Abstract:
The shortage of the automotive market in relation to options for sources of high power, led to the development of this work. Thus, we developed a stabilized voltage source and limited in current, with a 4320W effective power to act on voltage of 14.4V and a choice of two currents: 30A load option in battery banks and 300A in normal condition. The intended project can also be considered as a source of general use with analog control circuit based on discrete components. The power circuit assembly uses a methodology that allows for higher powers than the initially stipulated.

Design Radix-4 64-Point Pipeline FFT/IFFT Processor for Wireless Application

Abstract:
4G and other wireless systems are currently hot topics of research and development in the communication field. Broadband wireless systems based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) often require an inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) to produce multiple sub-carriers. Fast Fourier transform (FFT) processing is one of the key procedures in popular orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication systems. Our proposed design is aimed to Eliminate the read-only memories (ROM's) used to store the twiddle factors, which requires more memory and also increases chip area and to reduce the number of computations to in order to speed up FFT computation. To remove the read only memories (ROM's) used to store the twiddle factors, our proposed architecture applies various periodicity properties of twiddle factors and reconfigurable multiplier. To reuse the same hardware core for reducing the chip area we implemented single hardware core to perform both FFT and IFFT by adding few extra computations. We implement the processor in SDF architecture with radix-4 algorithm. There are various algorithms to implement FFT, such as radix-2, radix-4 and split-radix with arbitrary sizes .Radix-2 algorithm is the simplest one, but its calculation of addition and multiplication is more than radix-4's. The proposed architecture is compared with the existing architecture for wireless applications based on performance metrics like power consumption, chip area, speed etc.

How to Translate from English to Khmer using Moses

Abstract:
This paper presents systematic and step by step methodology for designing an online English to Khmer machine translation system using Moses DoMY CE, an open source Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) tool. The usefulness of this paper is that the same methodology can be adopted to produce an online SMT between any language pair. Moses is an implementation of the statistical (or data-driven) approach to machine translation. This is the dominant approach in the field at the moment, and is employed by the online translation systems like Google and Microsoft. We have attempted to minutely explain each step including formation of input files and output files in each step taken by Moses.
