Abstract: Creation of transmission gear and overcoming of drawbacks such as high cost of materials; design of instruments, tools and machines; precision control etc., can be achieved by using existing machine elements. Good results can be reached with some minor alterations in the construction, with suitable combination of the comprising elements and with the creation of efficient schemes. The aim of the present paper is to define the structure and to carry out computer analysis of friction gear with two successive comprising elements.

Sonochemical Reactor with Phase Control

Abstract: Describes the ability a managing the symmetric sonochemical reactor for physic-chemical treatment of chemically pure water, true and colloidal aqueous solutions, as well as disperse systems with the speed of sound in them more than at water. Such reactors are useful, for example, in the food industry, where are processed of different concentrations the solutions NaCl. Demonstrated that the development allows you to get the highest acoustic power dissipated on the cavitation and maximum performance of reactor without increasing the electrical power input but by nonparametric control cavitation. Describes the reactor with two tightly fastened by elastic gaskets and flanges at the nodes of the vibration displacement of the acoustic transformers to opposite ends of the housing which distribute in the treated solution coherent plane elastic waves. The distance between the ends of the radiating transformers reactor is multiple of the number of half wavelengths of these oscillations in chemically pure water. Effect is achieved due to the fact that the phases of emitters must always be shifted relative each other in a predetermined angle.

Exploring the dynamics of labour market through bifurcation theory

Abstract: This paper provides a modeling framework for the microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis of labor market equilibrium. The study explores the work of Yuri Kuznetsov and Ronald Shone regarding the dynamics of unemployment (and employment) by providing two different settings for the matching rate m(u,v). The aim of this paper is to develop dynamic models in order to explain a set of facts regarding job flows. The stability of the central variety for the new generated ode systems is analyzed by using the software package of xpp.exe . The main results of this research are the theorems on the existence and location of Hopf bifurcation boundaries in each of the considered cases.

Comparative Evaluation of Resistance Made Simple Shear Connection with Bolts and With Welding

Abstract: The objective of this work until quite investigative and experimental review, to examine the performance of simple connections using bolt SAE 1045 medium carbon steel hex head high strength according to ISO 4017 or weld metal, requested by tensile stresses, shear. It evaluates the strength of the bond fixed structures in steel sheet in the sheet direction parallel or perpendicular relative to the axis of fixation. This study raised subsidies basic and important information for future studies of criteria for choosing the best joint or bolts or welds, considering the lack of criteria and definitions in standards aimed at metal structures. According to data presented, the bolted joints showed higher shear strength than welded, noting that a smaller number of screws may be associated with fixing plates in metal structures. Modelling Heat Losses in a Tar Sand Formation during Thermal Recovery Processes

Abstract: Heat losses to adjacent formations jeopardize the efficiency of thermal recovery operations. Predicting these energy losses is important in the design of a thermal recovery project. The case study is a steam flood project where heat losses from a tar sand formation is mathematically modeled based on pertinent assumptions. The heat loss model was developed using the law of conservation of energy, with heat energy as a function of the properties of the tar sand formation and the heat-carrying fluid. Solutions of this model were obtained using the MATLAB software. Sensitivity analyses revealed that the rate of heat loss to the adjacent strata increased/decreased depending on the variation of the steam and tar sand formation properties. A variation of some properties had no significant effect on the rate of heat losses. Thus, it is vital in advance to gather adequate information especially of the tar sand formation so as to prepare an injection fluid whose properties would minimize heat losses to the cap and base rocks. This would increase the mobility of the oil and extend the life of the production well(s).

Image Processing With Sampling and Noise Filtration in Image Reconigation Process

Abstract: Contrast enhancement is a verycritical issue of image processing, pattern recognition and computer vision. This paper surveys image contrast enhancementusing a literature review of articles from 1999 to 2013 with the keywords Image alignment theory and fuzzy rule-based and explorean idea how set theory image prosing rule-based improve the contrast enhancement techniquein different areasduring this period. Image enhancement improves the visual representation of an image and enhances its interpretability by either a human or a machine. The contrast of an image is a very important attribute which judge the quality of image. Low contrast images generally occur in poor or nonuniform lighting environment and sometimes due to the non-linearity or small dynamic range of the imaging system. Therefore, vagueness is introduced in the acquired image. This vagueness in an image appears in the form of uncertain boundaries and color values. Fuzzy sets (Zadeh, 1973) present a problem solving tool between the accuracy of classical mathematics and the inherent imprecision of the real world.

Sedimentation Rateand Total Suspended Solid (TSS) In Melombo Area, Salurang Village, Sangihe Archipelagic Regency

Abstract: This study was aimed to know the sedimentation rate and the total suspended solid of the estuary in relation to the implementation of melombo culture practice area. The sedimentation rate was measured using sediment traps placed in 3 set stations and data were taken for 8 months of two weeks interval. The sediment traps weremade of PVC pipe, 11.5 cm long and 5 cm diameter and located at 20 cm above the sea bottom. Sediment samples were firstly soaked in freshwater for approximately 4 hours to remove salt content. Sedimentation rate was determined as πr2h/time length, while Total Suspensi Solid (TSS) followed the formula of Eaton, et al (1995). Results showed that the sediment trapped in station 1 ranged from 5.6 cm (109.9 cm3) – 7.7 cm (151.11 cm3) with an average of 6.61 cm (129.7 cm3), station 2 from 5.3 cm (104 cm3) to 8.5 cm (166.8 cm3) with an average of 7.18 cm (140.9 cm3) and station 3 from 3.8 cm (74.6 cm3) to 7.6 cm (149.2 cm3) with an average of 6.8 cm (133.8 cm3), respectively. Total suspended solids (TSS) ranged from 18.28 to 50.60 with an average of29.165 (29.59%) for station 1, 27.84 to 47.48 with an average of38.99 (39.56%) for station 2, and 18.28 to 50.60 with an average of 30.405 (30.85%) for station 3, respectively.Based upon the decree of Living Environment Minister Numbered 51, 2004, for marine biota, the TSS has been above the standard seawater quality.

AHP Method for Selecting Third Party Logistics Provider: Application in Emergency Department

Abstract: The selection of third party logistics (TPL) providers is an important issue for enterprises to outsource their logistics business. In this paper we propose a comprehensive evaluation model for TPL suppliers based on AHP method. Furthermore, we Base on the evaluation index system including logistics cost, the logistics operation efficiency and the basic qualities of service. The efficiency and application of the proposed approach has been illustrated with a case study in Emergency Department of Sfax hospital.
