Design and Implementation of Security Based ATM theft Monitoring system
Sivakumar T., Gajjala Askok, K. Sai Venuprathap

Abstract:
The Idea of Designing and Implementation of Security Based ATM theft project is born with the observation in our real life incidents happening around us.
This project deals with prevention of ATM theft from robbary.so overcome the drawback found in existing technology in our society. When ever robbery occurs, Vibration sensor is used here which senses vibration produced from ATM machine. This system uses ARM controller based embedded system to process real time data collected using the vibration sensor. Once the vibration is sensed the beep sound will occur from the buzzer. DC Motor is used for closing the door...........

Customized Monitoring and Assessment of Circuit Breaker Operations in Different Applications
S. V. Saravanan, Dr. C. Sharmeela, Dr. Chandan Majumdar

Abstract:
This paper addresses two important issues: a) how improved CB monitoring may be implemented in real-time, and b) what would be the benefits of such an implementation. The paper is devoted to description of a prototype implementation of a real-time CB monitoring system. The system consists of a new CB monitoring data acquisition IED that is located at circuit breaker and captures detailed information about its operation in real-time. The CB files are transferred to the concentrator PC where the application software performs automated analysis and makes an assessment about the operational status of the breaker. The software is based on signal processing and expert system processing. Application example using actual field data is discussed.

Container-Beating Approaches for Avoiding Discriminative Cramming Assaults
P. Obulamma, P. Venkata Ramanaiah, P. Sreenivasulu

Abstract:
Modern society is heavily dependent on wireless networks for providing voice and data communications. Wireless data broadcast has recently emerged as an attractive way to disseminate data to a large number of clients. Typically, jamming has been addressed under an external threat model. In this work, we address theproblem of selective jamming attacks in wireless networks. In these attacks, the adversary is active only for a short period of time, selectively targeting messages............

Computer Assisted and Contour Detectioin in Medical Imaging Using Fuzzy Logic
Hmadri nath moulick, Joyjit Patra ,Arun kanti Manna

Abstract:
Soft computing (e.g. fuzzy logic, neural network, genetic algorithms) has proved to yield promising results in digital image processing and understanding when missing, ambiguous or distorted data is available [2][3]. For biomedical image analysis, archiving and retrieval, the great structural information may he successfully approached by using methods of soft computing. Moreover, symbolic calculus(e.g.predicate logic, semantic nets, frames, scripts) may he used for knowledge representation, thus merging the expert's domain into a decision support system. This paper describes the use of fuzzy logic and semantic knowledge for edge.............

Speaker Recognition Using Vocal Tract Features
Prasanth P. S.

Abstract:
Speaker recognition refers to the process of automatically determining or verifying the identity of a person based on his/her voice. A method of robust feature estimation of vocal tract features from the speech utterances leads to speaker classification. This paper deals with estimation of pitch and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) and how those features can be used for speaker recognition. The Support Vector Machine (SVM) is well suited for binary speaker classication

Wavelength Conversion of a Laser Beam Using a Continuous- Wave Optical Parametric Oscillator
Kireet Semwal, S. C. Bhatt

Abstract:
The nonlinear optical processes are among the most fascinating effects that can be produced in lasers. These processes are almost magical, as they permit light of one colour (wavelength) to be converted into the light of a different colour. Nonlinear optics is a study that deals mainly with various new optical effects and novel phenomena arising from the interactions of intense coherent optical radiation with matter. Second harmonic generation is a nonlinear optical process........

Abstract:
This research intended to investigate the farmer characteristic (sex, education level, number of family member) and farming *area number, farming experience, the distance with manure source, contact with instructor) to the farmer adoption through farmer motivation in using organic manure. This research was carried out by the method of survey in East Tombatu District, South East Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. Sample of farmer was selected by using purposive sampling. Determination of sample village was based on the program implementation of SL-PTT (Field School of Integrated Cropping Management)............

The Need for Eearthquake Resiatant Structures in Nigeria
Aondowase John Shiwua

Abstract:
Nigeria has experienced pockets of tremors of magnitudes ranging from 4.3 to 4.5 even though it is not situated where major seismic activities are observed in the world. The International Seismological Centre (ISC) recorded that in 2000 an earthquake with body wave magnitude of 4.4 occurred in Nigeria. Similarly, the vibrations of the September 11, 2009 event with magnitude 4.4 and epicentre at Allada, Benin Republic, almost 130 km west of Lagos, Nigeria, was felt in parts of Ibadan.............

A Novel Space Vector Modulation (SVM) Controlled Inverter For Adjustable Speed Drive Applications
M.Nagaiah, Gnanatheja Rakesh.V

Abstract:
The induction motor (IM) is fed from three phase bridge inverter which is operated with space vector modulation (SVM) Technique. Among the various modulation strategies Space Vector Modulation Technique is the efficient one because it has better performance and output voltage is more closed to sinusoidal. The main aim of any modulation technique is to obtain variable output having a maximum fundamental component with minimum harmonics. Space Vector PWM (SVPWM) method is an advanced ...........

Modified Method for Fixed Charge Transportation Problem
Debiprasad Acharyab, Manjusri Basua And Atanu Das

Abstract:
In traditional method for solving fixed charge transportation problem, we introduce dummy column to make balance transportation problem from unbalance transportation problem. We set zero cost for the dummy column. It is used in both crisp environment as well as fuzzy environment. But if we use the maximum cost in each row for respective position in dummy column we get better result. A comparative study between the existing method and the modified method shows that the latter is much more effective.

Abstract:
Wide Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) is a third generation wireless communication system. However for any wireless communication system there are various factors such as fading, interference and scattering that degrade the performance of the system. Diversity is an influential communication technique that provides wireless link enhancement at a relatively low cost. It has been used to mitigate the fading problem in wireless channel. This survey provides overview of different............
