An Efficient Approach forRequirement Traceability Integrated With Software Repository
P. M. G. Jegathambal, P. Sheela Gowr

Abstract: Traceability links between requirements of a system and its source code are helpful in reducing system conception effort. During software updates and maintenance, the traceability links become invalid since the developers may modify or remove some features of the source code. Hence, to acquire trustable links from a system source code, a supervised link tracing approach is proposed here. In proposed approach, IR techniques are applied on source code and requirements.........

Variations in Groundwater Flow Potential in Parts of Imo State, Niger Delta Basin, Southeastern Nigeria
C. A. Ahiarakwem, G. I. Nwankwor, E. S.Chinemelu, Paschal, C. C.

Abstract: Groundwater flow potential of ten water boreholes in parts of Imo State were determined principally from their transmissivity values. The results indicates that the aquifer thickness range from 36 to 50m while the hydraulic conductivity varies from 10-1 to 10-4 m/s. The transmissivity values of the aquifer rocks varies from 311.04 to 388,072m2/ day. Although the study area is underlain by the same geological formation (Benin Formation), the groundwater flow potential varies from moderate...........

Identification of Groundwater Prospective Zones Using Geoelectrical and Electromagnetic Surveys
Sajeena, S., Abdul Hakkim, V. M., Kurien, E. K.

Abstract: Groundwater resources play a major role in ensuring livelihood security across the world. Utilization of groundwater reservoir as a viable source for meeting drinking and domestic water needs is safer and economical than surface water, as groundwater is available everywhere and is generally uncontaminated. As a result groundwater investigation has assumed top priority in recent years. Groundwater is usually held within porous soils or rock materials. People all around the world face serious water shortage because of the over exploitation of groundwater for domestic, industrial and agricultural purposes............

Predicting Functional Regions in Genomic DNA Sequences Using Artificial Neural Network
Günay Karlı, Adem Karadağ

Abstract: A promoter which frequently appears before its associated gene in DNA sequence governs the expression of genes. In order to locate a gene in a given sequence, researchers have to find the location of a promoter. Thus, the problem of promoter identification is of major importance within biology. So this issue is still open. In this study, we employ ANN (Artificial Neural Network) classifier to predict promoters of DNA sequences, and evaluate their performances. The obtained results show that the classifier competes the existing techniques for identifying promoter regions.

Design and Evaluation of Gravity-Fed Perforated Tube Drip Irrigation for Dry Season Irrigation of Citrus Sinensis
Obot E. Essien, Michael I. Essien

Abstract: Gravity-fed, perforated-tube drip irrigation system was designed and applied to irrigate sweet orange (Citrus sinensis) in the dry season which the fruit tree is highly vulnerable to marked reduction in growth, yield and fruit quality. The aim was to utilize scarce quantity of water for root contact irrigation efficiently. Small surface tank size for supply of water, orifice discharge, number of drip pipes, discharge flow rate and root zone volume.........

Telemonitoring of Four Characteristic Parameters of Acoustic Vocal Signal in Patients with Tumor or Inflammatory Chronic Dysphonia
S. Abdelouahed, Pr. M. Benabdallah, S. Aounallah, Pr. F. Hadj Allal

Abstract: In this paper we develop a system dedicated to the objective characterization of dysphonia chronic laryngeal origin. The purpose of this system is threefold: diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patient. For that we design an experimental protocol which consists of the recording and the archiving of the acoustic voice signal by means of the software environment Audacity which makes it possible to deliver a temporal signal under format WAVE. Our contribution consisted of the implementation, under the Visual Basic environment, of an algorithm that allows performing the analysis of a spectro-temporal...........

Time Truncated Chain Sampling Plans for Inverse Rayleigh Distribution
Dr. A. R. Sudamani Ramaswamy, S. Jayasri

Abstract: A Chain sampling plan is developed based on truncated lifetimes when the lifetime of an item follows a inverse Rayleigh distribution. The design parameters such as the minimum sample size and the acceptance number are obtained by satisfying the producer's and consumer's risks at the specified quality levels, under the assumption that the termination time and the number of items are pre-fixed. The results are illustrated by an example.

Conception and Development of a Tele-Medical Interface Dedicated to Tele Monitoring of the Renal and Cardiacinsufficiency
L. Badir Benkrelifa, M. Benabdellah

Abstract: Heart diseases are particularly common in patients with kidney disease. Renal failure patients are more likely to die of heart failure than reaching the stage of dialysis. The kidney is one of the most sensitive to hypoxia bodies. Hypoxemia can be downloaded monitored by photoplethysmography (PPG), which is based on molecular absorption spectrophotometry in the infrared. Photoplethysmography is more advantageous than biochemical methods such as dosage uremic or creatinimec given its non-invasiveness and character embedded system enabling remote continuous monitoring of chronic renal failure...........
