Olajide, Sunday Emmanuel, ALABI, Oluwole Titilayo, AKINLABI, Tomide

Abstract:
It is a statement of fact that most of the researches center on the measures towards solving housing problem for the living. It may sound funny that the dead are facing problem of inadequate housing. Housing provision for the dead had been found to be in the neglect, where there are provisions, they are grossly inadequate. It is therefore the intention of this research work to consider the problem and prospect of housing the dead in Nigeria with special focus on South Western Nigeria. Data were sourced through the use of questionnaire, observation, direct interview, and use of related literature. Stratified Sampling technique was adopted. Result showed that majority of the deads were buried within the residential neighbourhood; not adequate provision was made by both private and public sectors toward proper housing of the dead; few purpose-built cemeteries were not properly maintained; health hazards were found to be imminent among others. It was hereby recommended that both the private and public organizations should embark on enlightenment campaign on the hazards inherent in burying within the house; adoption of the concept of Public Private Partnership (PPP) in providing standard and well maintained cemetery at different but suitable points within the city or town; existing cemeteries need to be secured and kept clean by the Local Councils and religious bodies; need to enact enabling laws whereby those who insist to bury their dead within the house are made to pay exorbitantly to curb indiscriminate burial was also seen to be relevant.

FPGA Implementation of PAPR Reduction Technique using Polar Clipping
Kiran Bala, Sunita Goyal

Abstract:
Modern spectral efficient signals suffer from the problem of high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). High PAPR results in in-band and out-band distortion. Various PAPR reduction techniques are available in literature. But due to its less hardware complexity, polar clipping is widely used. This paper presents the FPGA implementation of polar clipping technique.

Dr.Yadavalli Basavaraj, Pavan Kumar B. K., Varun B. V., Sumanth G.

Abstract:
A fixture is designed and built to hold, support and locate every component to ensure that each is drilled or machined with accuracy and manufactured individually. A brake spider includes a spider body with a central opening and a slot for receiving a camshaft and bracket assembly. The brake spider is attached to axle housing via the central opening. The form to be used depends on the shape and requirement of the work piece to be machined. In the existing fixture, used for modeling brake spider component, only five components were machined per hour. In the present work, detailed study of brake spider component is carried out and design is modified to increase the productivity. The new fixture design is carried out by using CATIA V5 modeling software and it is critically evaluated for the failure of clamp component, by finite element method (FEM) using ANSYS software. This modified design is adapted in the fabrication of fixture and is tested for its productivity. It is found that there is a considerable enhancement in the productivity to seven components per hour with required accuracy.

Realization of Multi Converter Using Unified Power Quality Conditioning System
G. Ramakrishna, Y. Rambabu, V. K. R. Mohan Rao

Abstract:
This paper presents a new unified power-quality con-ditioning system (MC-UPQC), capable of simultaneous compen-sation for voltage and current in multibus/multifeeder systems. In this configuration, one shunt voltage-source converter (shunt VSC) and two or more series VSCs exist. The system can be applied to ad-jacent feeders to compensate for supply-voltage and load current imperfections on the main feeder and full compensation of supply-voltage imperfections on the other feeders. In the proposed config-uration, all converters are connected back to back on the dc side and share a common dc-link capacitor. Therefore, power can be transferred from one feeder to adjacent feeders to compensate for sag/swell and interruption. The performance of the MC-UPQC as well as the adopted control algorithm is illustrated by simulation. The results obtained in Simulink on a two-bus/two-feeder system show the effectiveness of the proposed configuration.

Designing Of Time and Power Efficient Model for Controlling Of Critical Process
T. Menaka, S. Vanila, F. Agi Lydia Prizzi

Abstract:
Over the recent years, time analysis and power efficient has become a desirable property in many critical processes of the industries like chemical industry, petrochemical industry etc. in the time analysis concept, we deal about priorities for critical and noncritical parameters based upon time scheduling and controlling the parameters under the pre-set values stipulated for the processes example: even a low priority parameter is given the highest priority some time due to drastic change in the outputs value against the set point. Power efficient factor allows us to lower the power consumption of the instruments for continuous operation. In this paper, we have used many critical parameters namely temperature sensor, level sensor, current sensor, viscosity sensor, pressure sensor for time-analysis, controlling and as an input for the serial interface protocol. Here power efficient is calculated using three different serial interface protocols namely I2C, UART, and SPI between two microcontrollers.

Phase Unwrapping Via Graph Cuts
P. Poornachader Rao, M. Bhavya

Abstract:
Interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) is a radar remote sensing technique primarily aimed at measuring terrain altitude. Relevant InSAR features are night-and- day and all-weather operability. In particular, such features spurred InSAR based digital elevation models (DEM) into a wide spread operational use. Phase unwrapping is the inference of absolute phase from modulo-2π phase. This is a critical step in the InSAR processing chain, yet still one of its most challenging problems; this fact makes of phase unwrapping a crucial problem to InSAR based DEM production. This thesis introduces a new energy minimization framework for phase unwrapping, building on graph cuts based binary optimization techniques. We provide an exact mini- mizer general algorithm, termed PUMF(Phase Unwrapping Max-Flow), considering con- vex pair wise pixel interaction potentials; namely we solve exactly all the phase unwrapping classical minimum Lp norm problems for p ≥ 1. A set of experimental results illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, and its competitiveness with state-of-the-art algorithms.

Sangodoyin, A. Y., A. A. Ajayi-Banji

Abstract:
Man's need for proteinaceous foods have led to generation of abattoir solid waste at elevated quantity. This waste could be well managed using an environmentally friendly and cost effective waste management practice such as adsorption to mitigate its impact on man and his environment. This study considered the use of chars and modified chars from cattle bone and horn for treatment of polluted surface water. Cattle horn was carbonized at 350, 400 and 450 oC while bone was pyrolyzed at 450 oC. Equal portion of the chars was modified using aluminium and zinc chloride salts separately. Removal efficiencies of the six adsorbents were examined. The biosorbents morphology and composition was analysed by SEM-EDX machine. Best quality horn char was obtained at 400 oC with virtually no odour impact and minimum energy inputted. Removal percentage of adsorbate varied with contact time, surface water source and biosorbent involved. The highest removal efficiencies at 6 hrs contact time for As, Zn, NO3, BOD, COD, coliform count, total aerobic and total fungal was 100%, 60%, 65.7%, 50.7%, 52.2%, 97.1%, 98.2% and 99.8% respectively. The study reveal the potential of abattoir non- biodegradable solid wastes as biosorbents for removal of contaminants in mildly polluted surface waters.

Power Quality Improvement using AC To AC PWM converter for distribution line
Shalini Bajpai

Abstract:
In this paper, a new voltage sag compensator for critical loads in electrical distribution system discussed. The proposed scheme employs a Pulse width modulation ac-ac convertor along with an auto transformer. During a disturbance such as voltage sag, the proposed scheme supplies the missing voltage and helps in maintaining rated voltage at the terminals of the critical load. Under normal condition the approach works in bypass mode and delivering utility power directly to load. A four step switching technique ti drive the ac-ac convertor is employed to realize snubber less operation. A design is presented for 440v, 50 hz, system.

Prof.Gvnkv Subba Rao, Prof.S.Venkat Ratna, M. Venkat Reddy

Abstract:Research have studied numerous means of One of the key security threats on the Internet occurs because of Compromised machines, such systems often used to launch various security attacks such as spamming and spreading malware, DDoS, and identity theft. The spamming provides a key economic incentive for attackers to recruit the large number of compromised machines, so keeping focus on the detection of the compromised machines in a network that are involved in the spamming activities, commonly known as spam zombies. So here to develop effective spam zombie detection system named SPOT by monitoring outgoing messages of a network. SPOT is designed based on a statistical tool called Sequential Probability Ratio Test, this is a very powerful technique which gives the result by considering very fewnumber of observations made at less time consumption and improves the speed to execute the process.

Fuzzy Keyword Searches for Multiple PHR Owners
Prof.Md. SAMEERUDDHIN KHAN, L.NARESH, MUNEER AHMED

Abstract:With the beginning of cloud computing, it has become increasingly popular for PHR owners to outsource their documents to public cloud servers while allowing users to retrieve this data. For privacy concerns, secure searches over encrypted cloud data have motivated several research works under the single PHR owner model. However, most cloud servers in practice do not just serve one PHR owner; instead, they support multiple PHR owners to share the benefits brought by cloud computing. In this paper, we propose schemes to deal with Preserving Fuzzy keyword Search in a Multi-owner model along with it solves the problem of effective fuzzy keyword search over encrypted cloud data while maintaining keyword privacy. Fuzzy keyword search greatly enhances system usability by returning the similar documents when users' searching inputs exactly match the predefined keywords or the closest possible similar Health records based on keyword similarity semantics.

K.AMARENDRANATH, P.Hasitha reddy, N. DEEPIKA

Abstract:Cloud Computing is an up-and-coming technology now days in this bond in order to store and share enormous volume of data over internet we required Cloud Services. Cloud offering some services like IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS(Software as a Service) etc where it can control storage and share data securely with reduced cost thus sensitive personal Health records should be encrypted before outsource onto cloud for the sake of patient data privacy. As our existing system we noticed some of the privacy challenges over multi-keyword search from the cloud server. i.e patient revocation and lack of encryption scheme over index structure. In this paper we proposed a novel policy for patient revocation for avoiding patient revocation issues for dynamic updating over encrypted Health records by an authority i.e. Trusted Key manager(TKM) which manages keys by Diffie Hellman Algorithms: This algorithm is basically used to generate keys.

Qos Aware Multihop Based Routing Strategy for Mobile Ad Hoc Network
SURESH .V, A YASHWANTH REDDY, P.PRASHANT KUMAR

Abstract:Here in this paper a MAC layer level clogging detection system has been projected. The planned model aims to explore a system to compute the degree of clogging at victim node with maximal accuracy. This clogging detection apparatus is integrated with a Two-Step Cross Layer Clogging Control Routing Topology. The proposed model involves controlling of clogging in two steps with effective energy capable blocking detection and optimal cost of routing. Packet drop in routing is mostly due to link crash and clogging. Most of the existing clogging control solutions do not have the ability to distinguish between packet loss due to link collapse and packet loss due to clogging. As a result these solutions aim towards action against packet drop due to link malfunction which is an unnecessary effort and ends with of energy resources. The other limit in most of the available way out is the utilization of energy and resources to detect clogging state, degree of clogging and alert the source node about blocking in routing path. This paper explores a cross layered model of clogging recognition an control mechanism that include energy efficient clogging detection, Multicast Group Level Clogging Evaluation and Handling Algorithm [MGLCEH] and Multicast Group Level Load Balancing Algorithm [MGLLBA],
